NEW CBD RICH STRAINS come and get em? Why?! All the CBD you need is already present in the leaf of the cannabis plant not just indicas but all strains indica, sativa and crosses. The best way to ingest cbd is through edibles and if you want to just get the benefit of cbd its best to use just leaf matter made into a cooked butter or oil. When it comes to vaporization you dont get any significant cbd at all so using Cannatonic in the way a proper medical patient would use inhaled cannabis would be no different than if they were vaporizing Nevilles Haze! Seed companies quit B.S.ing people and start making strains that are useful.

Hold your horses.... it's a lot more complicated than that.

I would say that the best way to assume high CBD is to use extract from hemp strains (industrial hemp).

The highest CBD on test (constantly over 10%) is only achievable in certain industrial hemp strains (example: Fedora, Felina, and others), certified legal and low-THC by the European Union.

Many seedbanks claim they have strains with over 10% CBD, but it's a plain lie. Or simply, the testing method used to measure the CBD is not valid.

But using industrial hemp is not a solution for every patient. A lot of patients that tried industrial hemp thinking to benefit from the high CBD discovered that CBD has the desired effect only in sinergy with other cannabinoids (which one nobody knows, there are too many of them....).
For some patients, a medicinal strain with 4% CBD can be more beneficial than a industrial hemp strain with 10% CBD.

So you see,  N.W.greenthumb, it is hard to generalize.

Medicinal use depends mostly on the sinergy between cannabinoids, and this is a field that is almost unexplored by science.

It's time more companies invest some of their profits into R&D.  We are doing our part, believe me.

You said it Franco! That's the type of reasearch I'm eagerly waiting to see results of. I have many friends that don't like the popular strains of today, like the hazes, and would rather prefer traditional Moroccan hash or just some rough bush weed. I think that has something to do with our tradition lately of usually looking for high thc only instead of looking at the whole spectra of cannabinoids. Actullay that's why I'm looking forward for your new landrace seed company. I believe some cool cannabinoid profiles could step out of it.

Is there anything of value written on the synergy of cannabinoids? I'd be happy to dig deeper.

I know your seedbank don't have high CBD strains, but to claim that no other have anything over 10% CBD is, to quote yourself, a plain lie.  Contact  ResinSeeds (Cannatonic) and they will gladly send you testresults of their strains. Or contact the clinicks in USA or Cannada, that provide it to their people and ask for their results.  The new testresults from CBD-Crew is also comming in, and they have found several very high CBD ratios. (the web page is not updated with the actuall trestresults yet)  CBD in hemp is not the same as a CBD rich cannabis plant and does not work the same way.   You have a responsibility here to know what you say when you speak about CBD, it can be the changing factor in somebodys life other than that, good job spreadiing cannabis cultivating knowledge.

Again, want to thank Greenhouse for all they do, don't really like spreading info about other companies here out of respect for them. But I think CBD and knowledge is very important, and I will never mentione any other companies in other treads.  


Here is an instruction on how we create easy to eat CBD pills with great effect:
"Take the finished cured dry bud, crumble a bit and put in a bowl with a lid and put in the oven for 125 degrees Celsius for about 45 min. this makes the cannabis decarboxilated and the cbd works more effectively in the body.
When it's done, you grind up the cannabis completely and just put in empty capsules that you get at the pharmacy, size 1 or 0. These will take about 0.1-0.2 g ( can also just put on bread, pills just makes it easy )
Severe illness,  fibrymalgia, MS, post operation pain , etc. Eat tree a day first 3 week and see if the patient feels better, if improvement, continue, if not so much, increase the dosages.
Temporary back pain and smaller issues, 1-2 pills a day, should be gone relatively fast.
the small amounts does not get most people any stoned, if it's a non smoker, start by taking one at night and your body will build a resistance soon.
Also this has worked for migraines, insomnia, Menopause and menstrual pains.
Our older "patients" eat one a night to help calm down and sleep trough the night calmer, and many have reduced their medication as well due to less pain in general."

Sure will be good to see the new results, I have been aware of the CBD crew for a while now and that they have teamed up with Dutch Passion to create some new strains or at leat improve them.

well also to be honnest Lady Liz as you work in the cannabis industry you know how fast thing goes, the message is 1 year old, so you know even the CBD crew one year ago if i remember more or less worectly we were starting to hear about them no? and i agree with  franco on the fact that maybe seedbank must just be surfing on the wave, and following the tendancies announcing some high rate of CBD everywhere. Doesn't mean they all do of course

But i do agree with you too, we see a lot lately people talking more and more about CBD, like with the CBDproject guys like lams said, now unfortunatly beeing in a country when there is absolutely nothing such as medical cannabis or studies, so most infos we get we have to select on net and you know how the net is you know what you read but never what you get, anything could be true or false So if you got any reliable info please make sure to share them with us on the fourm during your stay, we alway like to read and learn

Hehe, did not even see the date, yess a LOT of new info has come trough the last year. Myself just learned ablout it for the last two years. Mayn seedcompanies still don't know about the CBD benefits, but if you are "just" gonna smoke yo don't nessesarly need CBD. Althoug I try to only smoke cbd strains, just LOVE it. ANd I smoked every day for 13 years, so nice with a change, hehe. Great for work! Calm and comfortable   Also there is a company called CBC Seeds, that does not have any CBD in their seeds as far as I know. I  have sendt a mail asking for testresults, but never got any answers back. Very dangerous for people needing high CBD strains, so I hope they get some proof of their cbd claims soon.

I hear you, Resin does not want to stabilize the Cannatonic and Dieseltonic due to the fact that you an actually get a very high CBD and a very low THC, since some prefeere that for treating different illneses and f.eks. kids. Autism etc.
The testresults on CBD-Crew's homepage are low so that they did not have to put them down whan all the testresults come back, but I have seen many of the testgrow results and I can assure you that most of them come out way higher. Altou the mother of Cannatonic is "only" 6,2/6,9, but havs sucessfully cured cansers without making oils, just but heating & eating. I know bacause I am talking about a friend of mine with two braitoumors  that the doctors had given up treating and sent her home to die. She ate Cannatonic for tre weeks and they went away.. under 20g !!  Still living strong
I can't wait to get more happy endings like this now that more people can grow their own CBD, finally not dependeing on Bedocan or Sativx:)
That is probably why I got very emotional when seeing Francos comment, this can save life and need to be promoted not tossed aside.  I know now that this tread is old, and I am sure Franco has a lot more inforamtion now, as I said, I have nothing against Franco, but I reacted on him not recomending growing Cannatonic if you are looking for CBD.
If you keep track on the CBD-crew page you will sonn see ajusted results for the strains   
I also agree on the industrial hemp comment, it does not work as well as cannabis at all. I have tried creams with hemp CBD on psoriasis and it did not work at all like the instant relief of a highe THC/CBD Cannatonic cream.

I found this topic googling, thought it was interesting. I am currently growing Cannatonic #4 and my highest ranking is 14% CBD. But I have a screenshot of a 12% test.   Now I read that someone said that over 10 is impossible and that it would have to be an error in testing. I have no idea but this cannatonic 4 is weird. 0% THC and when you make butane oil out of it. Its like no other kind of oil. Not blonde but translucent brown .
