White rhino coco LST

I have two white rhino- GHS and they have been vegged for 4 weeks under a 400w MH.

They are now just under 2 weeks into flower and I changed the light to a 600w HPS a few days ago.

They are in 20l of coco/perlite and I WAS watering when the pots were dry (about once every 5 days) but after a suggestion from Dust on this forum I am now topping then up every day and the differance has been amazing so am sticking with that from now on.

I'm using the full canna range with a ph of 5.9 and now ppm of 500.

They have been quite heavely trimmed and trainned so the branches are tied right back

My temps run from about 65 to 80 but humidity is pretty wild and goes from 30 to 70- I'm looking at sorting that out because I got bud rot in my last plant and it was obviously devastating

The first picture is of my current and the final one is my last white rhino pre bud rot!!!!

Thanks for the kind replies

We're on day 15 of flower and all seems to be going well- had high temps last night but sorted now so here are a few pictures - the last is from a really nice green leaf to give a better idea of the plant colour

Most of the lower growth has been trimmed, it was getting a little clogged and the pistols have started to form

The watering daily is working a treat- gonna flush next with a light solution and give em a few days to dry alla green house

Great news about the American votes- a leap forward for all I think

Some more pictures- the plants are really thickening up so I've trimmed a few lower fan leaves and I've added a few pictures of the pulling back and the thick rings around the base of the stems.

Also some shots of the full plants

Thanks for anyone who's had a look

Please feel free to comment/critique- I'm still pretty new so advice is more than welcome.

beautiful fat stems, lovely

The white rhino seems to be great for fat stocky branches- one of them had three nodes instead of two all the way up so it was super fat- I had to trim a lot from that one.

Today we are in day 18 of flower and growth is still really fast and I have realised I havnt post any measurements so ill be sure to add them from now on.

The bushier plant is 23cm tall and 40cm across and the other is 25cm tall and 45cm across. There are averages but I'm please I've manged to keep them so short- they are getting bigger- quickly but I have the room to cope.

The first picture is from the bushier plant and its brown spots due to heat stress so the light has gone up again but the other pictures are of the flowers beggining to form on both plants.

Again thanks for the interest and stay high y'all

I used to grow under a 600w a few years back and was new and impatient- I rushed and tried all this advanced stuff to try and get better yields- it never worked- I would get from 10-12 ounces under that. That space was alot bigger so I had quite a few more plants- not wise

I had to stop for a year but in that time I read everything I could on the subject and since then I have been doing smaller grows than this to get the basics down.

So this is my first grow in this space and with my ballast on 100% (600w) so I'm really eager to see how it turns out Bedz

Have you done white rhino under a 600w before- I did and out of all of my horrible newb grows it was the best- I think that's why I chose it again- loved the smoke and it seems to take a lot of stress

No I have never done white rhino before and I done the same as you stopped growing for a while. Learned all I could in that time and back better than before on average I can get about 15-17 off a 600 watt I normally only grow cheese but got a bit bored and wanted to try somthink different

That's good man- I've been aiming at that for a while- ill struggle in my space and this cool tube I think though

Anyways I've just prepared 10l of water for tomorrow and I'm gonna leave it with an air stone until tomorrow night so it's nice and mixed and all the chlorine has gone.

The ppm is now at 550 and ill ph to 5.9 just before I water. I've put less A/B in and made the extra up with some pk 13/14.

This is about ec of 1.1 so it's a way off what greenhouse recommend but my plants don't look like they need more and canna is probably abit more concentrated

I really can't wait to try the powder feeding on my next grow to the full recommended GHS dose and see how they fly

Update soon so we see how they did

:)

Not good at all Tokage- those pictures were from last night and I've just checked them now- one of them has it slightly but the other seems to be getting it all over now and I've attached some pictures to show how bad it's gotten.

Not sure what to try next-my temps have been getting high with the lights on but I don't know if it looks like heat stress.

If anyone has seen this before and has any ideas they would be more than welcome- unless this is a salt build up.

I'm still relatively new so I am struggling abit now, they seem to show signs of deficiencies and efficiencies
