Gaz
Week 4I have now started them on 1 g of powderfeed per 10 litre as they are still very small, I will up this to 2.5g per 10 litres. Not bad weather this week and you can see the benefits of some sun. Temps day between 18 - 24 and between 7 -15 at night, with a couple of days with rain showers. I think they have doubled in size at least this week and are standing up to the weather well as been a little windy. All are growing quite equally and compactly, hopefully they will be ready to top soon. All plants photos are numbered

Gaz
Week 5Nice week of sun followed by rain, followed by sun. The temps have been upto 34 this week for a couple of days and has not really dropped below 20 all week till yesterday when we had some real heavy storms and windy. Anyway enougth of the weather report. The Afgooeys have doubled at least in size this week and love how quick they can grow, when given the correct conditions. I intend topping them at the next internode as don't want them to tall , with them nosey dutch neighbours. I also feel they are ready for the powderfeed to be upped to 2.5g per 10 litre can. I just tend to feed them when it has been dry for a couple of days as required and leave the rest upto the rain. Looking very healthy, and you can now see the difference in size of the kalashnikovaauto's starting to take off. Any questions let me know. Pictures have names.

Gaz
Wk 6.5 updatePlants have come on really well since the last update 10 days ago. Been pretty crappy weather wise and still not managed to feed them yet as they are getting plenty of water from the gods. When they did get a bit of sun it's amazing the speed they grow! As i am off today and it's looking fine so far I will keep moving them round the garden to ensure they get the maximum sun, mainly to try dry them out a little as some green moss seems to be forming on the soil. The bugs are starting to take a liking to the plants and have relocated one Caterpillar to the other side already (RIP). Hopefully once they have dried they can get a real good dose of Powderfeed, although should be plenty of goodness left in the soil. I have some spray to deal with flying bugs, thrips and mites, so I have treated the plants to try to keep them away this time, as the girls outdoor last year where crawling with little white flys. As i have the two kalashnikova auto's i wanted to do this before they flower as they have sexed last week. All 3 Afgooeys look very healthy and green, the side branches are slow to grow, so going to top them in the next day or two to try and encourage some growth lower down the plant, although after Undutched comments I have been reading up on the FIM tecchnique, so may risk it although am a little worried after my last attempt whic hstunted the growth of the 2 plants as they took 2 weeks to recover.

Gaz
Week 7 UpdateHi Strainhunters time for this week update. Was a slow start to the week, as rained Monday Tuesday, the weather has improved up to mid 20's for the rest of the week, so I took the opportunity once they dried out to water them with 3g Powderfeed in a 10 litre can, half Friday and the rest today. The Afgooeys grow really compact internodes, so deceided finally to top them 2 days ago , to try and stimulate the lower branches to get growing, although they are extremely bushy plants. No more caterpillars spotted and have moved the girls front here frame to allow them more room. They have big leaves now the size of your hand at least. weather looking good this week so will hopefully get to feed them at least and leave the rain to flush them. Some pictures.

Gaz
Week 8The plants have really come on the last 7-10 days, finally had a good spell of weather in the mid - high 20's. So managed to feed them twice, with a half strength dose (5g per 10 Litres). however feel this may have been to strong as A2 has some gold speckles/patches on the leaves, this pheno is a little taller than A1 and A3, they I have on sound advice a nice phenol, with more rounded leaves. The size of the leaves on A2 also are bigger at the moment the A1 and A3, in fact they are huge, the biggest I have grown perfect for soaking up some sun. Any opinions on the gold patches let me know, thanks. I will flush them to be safe, although only had two feeds. Short Flowering Powderfeed, although not sure if the Hybrid maybe better, again any thoughts, let me know thanks. In terms of sun they receive direct sunlight from 11.00 through to 18.00, not sure if there is an optimum time they should receive there sun in the day, only downside I see is that they are drying out daily to the point of drooping. might try to shade the pots a little. So far so happy, with my bush little plants, may try a bit of training as the plants branches grow upwards and need a little encouragement.

Structure is great and real fat stem, had them out from the first week so toughened up. Got the two Kalashnikova auto outside. Keep me going till October.
