the only auto flower strain i know of that u can take clones off of is Iranian Autoflower from Dr Green Thumb www.drgreenthumb.com/cannabis_seeds_GreenthumbSeedsEntrance.htm Having no ruderalis in it allows u too take cuttings off of it before it goes into flowering.
Gigabud... good strains those you mentioned above from drgreenthumb, good stuff... I was wodering how can it be auto without any rudelaris influence???!!!
Dr green thumd said that they found this phenotype 1 out 8,000 plants they grow. when they found it they didnt know it was a auto flower they thught it was just very fast. After they isolated and started studies of this phenotype they found out it was a auto flower with no rudelaris.......they called it a freak of nature. from what i heard u can grow it too 3ft then put outside and get about 1pound per plant. depending on were u live u can get in 2 harvests a year outside.
My Stuporsonic was ones a auto strain, but generations of growing made the plant in to a qick flowering strain. It need only like 4-6 hours of darkness...

I was wondering this myself as i have recently saw alot of auto strains which come in 'regular' as well as 'fem' so it made me think if they are regular they could be male autos? which perhaps you could cross polinate?
Thats Cool.... Cuz I Just Got One of those With a Male Rosebud (NO Ruderalis) started droppin pollen 4 weeks from Germ under 18/6.... I Don't Know how Long It's Gonna Last If its Just gonna Die eventually or...? but I'm Definitely gonna Put some pollen on some of the Female Rosebuds Maybe I can Cross it a Few times and Make a new Auto-Strain! WIsh me Luck
I've made seeds from Soma's Auto-NY Diesel, and an Auto-White Russian. It would be cool to be able to clone an auto, like the Iranian.
Now, when I plant the seeds I made from the two I get a 50/50 mix of males to females. I usually end up with 4 nice girls out of 10 seeds leaving one or two to not make it out of the shell. They are fun to grow, more fun to smoke, but yeild very little compared to full size plants.
Like I said, it would be nice to try the Iranian. ;)

It would be a very interesting breed outcross an auto strain with say a normal thai strain.
if the genes could be isolated that trigger early flowering, then I think it would be possible to have an almost pure thai strain that matures very quickly - say 8 to 10 weeks.
there are thai auto strains, so it would be interesting to cross a thai auto with a normal thai strain;
grow them out and in doing so look for early flowering plants;
from there it would depend which step one would take -
the early maturing plants would be then be backcrossed to one of the parants;
it may take a few generations but I think it would be possible.
well I Heard That just crossing an auto with a regular strain results in very few (maybe 5% autos)
while the rest being a Mix of the parent With Ranging Flower Times, So I Imagine You could Get Your Fast Flower Thai Pheno first try... And The Maybe a Few Crosses to Stabilize that Flower time with The Potency and Yield.... If your into breeding alot other wise you could just keep a mother from the first batch of seeds that works out closest to what you want.

Any cross you make will flower a month earlier.
